Happy 2009!!!!

Ok so my first commitment for 2009 is to update my blog more frequently!
The new year is off to a fantastic start! I have been named January of 2009 Baker to Watch by Modern baking Magazine! They did a piece on cupcakes where I was interviewed and that was in their November 2008 issue. I then got a call a few weeks ago to be the featured baker to kick off the new year. Modern Baking Magazine is a trade publication out of Chicago.

Things have been rockin in the bakehouse. During Lights in Bloom at Selby Gardens we had a temporary store set up called The Sugar Shack. We offered cookie decorating as well as a huge assortment of cookies, cupcakes and holiday gifts. Ontop of it all we set sales records at the store as well as at the Downtown Farmers Market on Saturdays. I am so thankful to my entire support team that work so diligently to make the Wired Whisk a success. Not to mention YOU and all of your support! 2009 is going to be our best year yet and we can't wait to share it with you!
